The primary role of media is to give information. From news, current affairs, lifestyle, weather, celebrity updates, education and recreational.
1.. Indigeneous media-forms of media expression conceptualized, produced, and circulated by indigenous peoples around the globe as vehicles for communication, including cultural preservation, cultural and artistic expression, political self-determination, and cultural sovereignty.
2. Community media- any form of media that function in service of or by a community

Content analysic- "says what?'
1. Objectivity- evaluation of the content, the quality of being objective.
2. Systematic- done or acting according to a fixed plan or system; methodical
3. Generalizability- extension of research findings and conclusions from a study conducted on a sample population to the population at large
